Celebrating Community Impact in 2025: Reed Lodge #316 Donates to Local Charities

Reed Lodge #316 F&AM Donates to Local Charities from Annual Gun Raffle Funds

On Monday, May 5th, Reed Lodge #316 Free & Accepted Masons proudly presented charitable donations to three outstanding local nonprofit organizations: Evansville Trails Coalition, Holly's House, and Potter's Wheel. These donations were made possible thanks to generous community support through our Annual Gun Raffles held in recent years.

One of the core tenets of Freemasonry is Relief, exemplifying our commitment to compassion, charity, and community service. As Masons, we strive to embody this principle by actively supporting and uplifting those around us, providing assistance where it’s most needed, and fostering meaningful improvements in our neighborhoods. Since our establishment in 1866, Reed Lodge #316 has been dedicated to fostering community ties and charitable involvement, building a legacy of positive impact in Evansville.

Through sustained fundraising efforts like our Annual Gun Raffles, we've built a dedicated fund specifically aimed at providing consistent and meaningful support to local charities. These efforts reflect not only our lodge’s commitment to community involvement but also reinforce the broader Masonic ideal of improving ourselves by positively impacting the world around us.

We deeply appreciate the continued generosity and participation of everyone who helps make these charitable contributions possible. Reed Lodge #316 donates to local charities and volunteers at many events during the year, and if this is something you feel you would like to get behind on, feel free to contact us for more information on how you can join. We don't just make our communities better, we make good men better. All it takes is to ask one to be one.
